What you need to obtain a PPL

The PPL process

Start the PPL course within CG Aviation’s 141 Training syllabus with an introduction into the fundamentals of navigation and more advanced flying.

You will need to sit a 20-30min interview with an assessor who will score your English proficiency out of 6. Minimum of 4 is required.

You will need to sit a 3.5hr theory exam which requires a 70% pass mark to meet the standard.

This is the final stage of the license, requiring you to fly a Navigational flight with an examiner who will test your flying abilities against the part 61 Manual Of Standards.
