What you need to obtain an RPL

The RPL process

Start the RPL course within CG Aviation’s 141 Training syllabus with an introduction into the fundamentals of flying and basic control of a fixed-wing aircraft.

You will need to sit a 20-30min interview with an assessor who test your ability to speak English, use punctuation, convey information, speaking fluently with communication techniques.

You will need to sit a 2.0hr theory exam which requires a 70% pass mark to meet the standard.

This is the final stage of the license, requiring you to fly a roughly 1.5hr flight with a testing officer to test your ability and understanding of operating the aircraft in different states, configurations and environments.
